Solid Board Polycarbonate Awning Installation Instruction

Welcome to the installation guide for your Solid Board Polycarbonate Awning. Follow these step-by-step instructions to ensure a successful installation process.

Step 1.Open box and check all parts of awning.

Step 2.Tear protection film of polycarbonate sheet.

Step 3.Install sealing strip for 4 sides of solid polycarbonate sheet.

Step 4.Install brackets.

Step 5.Install front aluminum alloy edge strip(front aluminum alloy bar).

Step 6.Install back aluminum alloy edge strip(back aluminum alloy bar).

Step 6.Install back aluminum alloy edge strip(back aluminum alloy bar).

Step7.Fix backedge strip (back aluminum alloy bar)and brackets with screws.

Step 8.Fix front edge strip(front aluminum alloy bar)and brackets with screws.

Step 9.Connect second awning (when you need several pcs awnings splice together and install at the same place).

Step 10.Install edge strip (aluminum  alloy bar)and brackets of second set awning.

Step 11.Fix front edge strip (front aluminum alloy bar)and brackets of second awning with screws.

Step 12.Fix back edge strip (back aluminum alloy bar)and brackets of second awning with screws.

Step 13.Reinforce the brackets and polycarbonate sheet at the middle of brackets with dovetail screw (when your place often blows strong wind).

Step 14.Measure the distance between oval mounting holes of two brackets.

Step 15.Marking the distance on walls or windows.

Step 16.Drill installing holes (φ10mm).

Step 17.Install awnings on wall or window,and fix brackets on wall or window with expansion bolts.

Step 18.Tighten the expansion bolts with wrench.

Step 19.Use sealant to fill the distance between the wall and the awning to ensure that rain water will not leak out.

Step 20.Installation completed.
